SolarStar Attic Fan

When the heat wave hit my wife lowered the thermostat from the normal 70 degree setting to 68 degrees. We now have the thermostat set on 72 degrees since the fan has been installed.

Update 08/08/2012 Just so happens my AC has a leak. It has had it since we moved in. Finally getting a good HVAC guy to fix it for good now that we have isolated it.
Anyway, we have had to leave the AC off for a couple of days, including tomorrow. The attic fan has not allowed the house to get above 81 and is usually between 75-80 with no AC on. It would definitely be much hotter here during this crucial time if it wasn’t for the attic fan. I know that for a fact.
To answer your question, I would say it has made about a 3-5 degree difference throughout the house, and about a 2-4 degree difference on the 3rd floor. Without a doubt. I’m so glad we put it in before we had to turn off the AC and deal with this leak! Whew! Thanks again for everything!
